Terms and Conditions for Posting Tenant Reviews

Responsibility of the Landlord:

The landlord or property owner who posts a review about a tenant shall be fully and solely responsible for the content of the review, including any written statements, ratings, or opinions.

Accuracy and Truthfulness:

The landlord must ensure that all information provided in the review is accurate, truthful, and based on personal experience. Any false, misleading, or exaggerated information may lead to legal consequences.

Legal Liability:

By submitting a review, the landlord acknowledges that they may be held legally accountable for any claims, disputes, or legal actions that may arise from the content of the review.

Defamation and Misinterpretation:

If the review contains defamatory statements, unverified claims, or any content that could misinterpret the tenant’s behavior or character, the landlord shall be solely responsible for any defamation cases or legal proceedings initiated by the tenant or any other party.

Use of Tenant’s Photograph:

Uploading a photograph of the tenant is done at the landlord’s risk. The landlord confirms that they have the right to use the photo and understands that misuse may result in legal action. The landlord is responsible for ensuring that the photo is not altered, misrepresented, or used in a misleading context.

No Liability of the Platform:

The platform or website providing the review service is not responsible for any content posted by landlords. The platform acts only as a medium for publishing reviews and does not verify the accuracy of the information submitted.

Acknowledgment of Risk:

By submitting a review, the landlord acknowledges that they accept full responsibility for the review content and agree to bear any legal, civil, or criminal consequences arising from their submission.

Compliance with Law:

Landlords must comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws while posting reviews. Reviews that violate laws regarding privacy, harassment, or defamation will be treated as violations, and the landlord may face legal action.

Indemnification:

The landlord agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the platform from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from their review, including legal fees, settlements, or judgments.

Final Declaration:

By checking the “I agree to the Terms and Conditions” box, the landlord certifies that they have read, understood, and agreed to all the above terms and accepts full responsibility for the review and any consequences arising from it.
